Animal Collective Rocks NPR

The Hotel Chevalier

This short film was originally shown as a companion piece to The Darjeeling Limited on the festival circuit. Fox recently announced that the short would be cut from the theatrical release. Wes Anderson released it online for free yesterday.

This year they have toured much more, put out an EP, and are planning to put out a new album late 07/early 08. Zack De La Rocha Finally Finishes Solo Album

After what has seemed like an eternity, and a million shitty Audioslave albums later, former Rage front man Zack De La Rocha has completed his first solo album. Release dates are still pending, but this should give hope to fans of his dread head rockin vocal stylings. Read more about it HERE

To celebrate his rejoining of Blur, and to the hope of their rise to power once again, we acknowledge the brilliance of Graham Coxon. The track for today comes from his 2004 release Happiness In Magazines, and is called “Girl Done Gone”. It is a slow burning blues rocker, bare bones at first and later shows its true colors as the guitar solos fly. To one of the most criminally overlooked artists of our times, Graham, we salute you.
